Anyone interested in adopting or fostering any of this week’s featured pets can make an appointment to meet them at the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center by calling 813-301-7387, emailing petinfo@HCFLGov.net or visiting HCFLGov.net/PRCkennel.
Meet Sora, a 6-year-old favorite at the Pet Resource Center. He’s an affectionate lap‑leaner who loves climbing onto benches for snuggles, melting into belly rubs, or sticking close to his chosen person. He enjoys sniffing adventures, splashing in the pond, and is a big fan of squeaky toys. He can get overstimulated sometimes, but with calm guidance, he settles beautifully. Sora’s ID at the shelter is A2384044.[ Photos SUBMITTED ]
Meet Mooreen, whose foster parents say she is the easiest, most well-mannered house guest they’ve ever had. She is fully housebroken, a calm, quiet sleeper throughout the night, and is equally thrilled to go on long walks or curl up for long naps. She explores new spaces with gentle curiosity and will nicely sniff around before coming back the moment she’s called. Mooreen’s ID at the shelter is A2454535.[ Photos SUBMITTED ]
Meet Swig, a 10-year-old who’s house-trained, can be left alone uncrated for long stretches, and loves to lean in and cuddle. Swig is a gentle kiss-giver, enjoys baths, exploring, and quiet adventures, and thrives on routine, sunshine, and affection. He does have hip and spine arthritis and a soft tissue sarcoma, but he’s still full of joy, mobility, and personality. Swig’s ID at the shelter is A2514375.[ Photos SUBMITTED ]
