CareerSource Tampa Bay plans events for job seekers
TAMPA — CareerSource Tampa Bay will hold a resume workshop Thursday, Set. 10 in Clearwater, the second of three events the agency has scheduled this month, during Workforce Development Month, to help job seekers prepare to meet employers.
The workshop, billed as Resume Rendezvous — Workforce Edition, will run at the agency’s Gulf to Bay center, 2312 Gulf to Bay Blvd., Clearwater. An instructor-led session is set for 1 to 2 p.m., followed by one-on-one resume help from 2 to 4 p.m. A companion workshop was held Sept. 9 at the agency’s Tampa center, 9215 N. Florida Ave.
Both are intended to prepare job seekers for the Talent Meets Opportunity Hiring Event, which will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at South University’s Tampa campus, 4401 N. Himes Ave. The hiring event is open to all job seekers and will offer the chance to meet local employers, explore career options and learn about community resources.

Neighborly to sponsor adult, child federal food program
CLEARWATER — The Neighborly Care Network is now participating in the child and adult care food program of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Meals will be available at no separate charge to eligible participants enrolled in one of the care centers listed below.
Participants eligible for the free or reduced price meals must complete an application with documentation of eligibility information.
Centers are located at:
• Largo Adult Day Center, 11095 131st St., Largo
• Sunny Harbor Adult Day Center, 1015 Omaha Circle, Palm Harbor
• Evergreen Adult Day Center, 2601 54th Ave. S, St. Petersburg
