Capt. George Hastick has doing well on trout on recent charters, though finding keeper-sized fish like this one has been getting tougher. It’s a common pattern in July, so he recommends sticking with it, fishing grass bottom in 6 to 8 feet of water and releasing the little ones until connecting with slot-sized fish.
